The first team have one hand on the championship trophy after a great semi final victory over St. Vincents in balgriffen on Thursday last.  They will now face local rivals Ballyboughal in what promises to be an enthralling final on October 4th. We would love to see you all there in your club colours to support the lads!

Summer camp a great success
This years summer camp was a huge success for all involved. A day or two of rain failed to dampen spirits with great fun had all round. Many thanks to all who participated over the course of the week. Photos of summer camp action available here.

First Team Through to Championship semi final!
Congratulations to the first team who came through a tough quarter final encounter with Castleknock. The lads will now face St Vincents in the semi final on the weekend of the 4th/5th September.  Pictures from the quarter final can viewed here.

Ladies battle hard for cup win!
Congratulations to the ladies who put up a great fight to claim an important cup win over Croí Ró Naofa. They have one remaining game left to play and can claim the trophy with a victory. Best of luck girls!

Fibbs for phones
The Man O' War is taking part in the Fibbs for phones scheme being run by Talk to Me Mobile Phones and LMFM radio. In return for collecting 500 old and broken mobile phones the club will receive a defibrillator and training for six people to use it. This is a fantastic initiative and we would encourage all members to donate any old or broken phones they have! More information can be found at the following link Fibbs for phones

Leinster Minor glory for Man O' War ladies!
Congratulations to Joanne Moore and Susan Hagan who won the Leinster Minor title with Dublin on Sunday. They defeated Laois in a closely fought match in Kildare.
